British colonial 'cover up' in Mau Mau camp revealed in new secret document release
Attempts by British colonial authorities to cover-up the killings of 11
prisoners during the Mau Mau uprising in Kenya have been laid bare in
previously secret Government documents.

On the eve of this publication going for printing, the
British Government received a stinging rebuke by the High Court in London on its
argument in the Mau Mau case. The judge,
Mr Justice McCombe, on Friday,
5th October, 2012, after four years of legal
battle, dismissed the Government objections, and ruled that there was
"extensive” documentary and witness evidence for a fair trial to take
place. That made it three losses by the
Government in a row at the court.

A Historic moment for the Kenyans was witnessed on Friday 5 October 2012 after numerous court hearings. Kenyans in London, outside the Royal Courts of Justice could not hold back their joy as some shouted and others shed a tear.
